ABOUT THIS POSITION

You will be joining our client Aptis, an esteemed Atlassian Platinum Marketplace Partner renowned for its two plugins Epic Sum Up and Multi Time Tracker. Your main tasks will include development and quality assurance of new features and improvements. You will also be able to propose new ideas and suggestions and contribute to the products along with the rest of the team.

You will be working closely with the main decision-makers, as well as the support, sales and marketing teams, ensuring a comprehensive involvement across different phases of the product lifecycle.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement new features for our clients’ Jira plugins, ensuring they meet customer needs and adhere to Atlassian’s best practices.
• Write comprehensive test cases and perform thorough testing to ensure new features function correctly and are free from bugs.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of the plugins to ensure they are efficient and scalable.
• Provide technical support to other teams for the developed plugins.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for the developed features, including setup, configuration guides, and API documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Jira development, Atlassian SDK updates, and general software development trends to continuously improve the plugins.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of experience in developing Atlassian Apps
• Great understanding of Java, Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, Atlassian SDK and Atlassian Connect
• Experience with Jira’s REST APIs
• Experience with front-end technologies, particularly React
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within the Jira environment
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
